<p>I’m learning the methods in the book, currently at Lr addition) but I still need pen and paper, especially to keep track of the carry. Without writing things down, I get lost. Is this normal at first, and does it get easier with practice because it gets discouraging?</p>
Hi. Yes its like a muscle. The more you practice the easier it gets. Also take a look at the Math Place chapter. It makes things siginicantly easier.
