Hello, my name is QianHong. I want to calculate fast in mind just like my friends. My goal is to calculate as fast as the fastest person I have seen. Besides, use this additional tactic under emergency situation like calculating the gust factor on a plane without being panic. Besides, I would like to join golden eagle flight team (a club) in my school which requires mental math a lot. Time is always limited under unpredictable circumstances, I am glad I can learn mental math now. It is never too late to learn something. I believe it is beneficial to invest time learning mental math.

Where are you from?
Would definitely love to hear more about the things that are tested in eagle flight team club.
Please share your techniques here with the community.
June 7, 2020 at 4:04 am #12738Hi, I am from Malaysia, but currently in Prescott, Arizona. Studying here as an international student.
June 7, 2020 at 4:09 am #12739What kind of mental math do you do in school?
The reason I am asking is to know whether the book and the course has everything that you do in school.
Will include additional content based on your feedback.
June 7, 2020 at 5:05 am #12740I haven’t completed the trial for the eagle club, but many conversions e.g. knots to mph, Liters to imp gal, 0.0000035 divided by 12, relationships between time, fuel, distance when climb, cruise and descent, calculating without a calculator but just an e6b (a flight computer that works manually ) you may search it if you’re interested. I am preparing for the next trial session.

Let me know how it goes.
