Hi, I am reading the book and reached at chapter 14 where the technique given is as same as bridge method. I can’t understand the difference. The book says “only difference is mental visualisation” I can’t understand what is mean by this? The book also says “Use your forefinger and middle finger to pace through the multiplication” Again, I am unable to understand how to use your fingers…Is it for calculating or remember numbers on your fingers or using fingers on the book page to track the cross-multiplication…Can’t really understand what does the author really want to say????

    Hi Shailesh.

It is to use the fingers on the page to track the cross multiplication.

In bridge the numbers are placed side by side. In Vitruvian man, the numbers are stacked on top of each other. It is just how the numbers are visualized that is different.

    Hope this clarifies.
