Cheers to us who wanna start new careers! 😀
I think this is the last workbook so here it goes.
If I get sick or feel tired, ill at least play each chord Iknow once so that I don’t forget how they sound
I might get interrupted by family emergencies, calls from the family business, and if the chores take too long to finish
If there s an emergency, it’ll be the exception, but ill still play each chord once.
If i get calls from the family business, then I’ll continue practising after I finish what i was called for, Otherwise, I’ll play each chord at least once
if the chores take too long, then ill start practice after i get done with them. ill reduce the duration f its necessary
So I just got done with the accountability workbook.
I don’t think I want anyone keeping tabs on me practising, but my sis wants to listen while I practice and she’s making song requests now…
So at least someone knows that I’ve been practising
Also didn’t wanna get an earful from my folks since they know I bought me a pricey guitar, Don’t think they wanna see it gathering dust.
I don’t think I have the cash to hire a teacher, but the app thTyroneone gave me helped.
Also just got done wid another workbook.
So I just got me a set of extra strings so if the ones on my guitar snap, I can just go change it and not have to leave the house.
Also got a bucket list of songs I wanna learn as I practice
Since I help out wid d family business in the mornings, I’ll always have time to practice but I get calls after lunch sometimes to help out… I told my folks to keep 1 o-clock for me so I’ll still get to play after lunch.
I also gave my folks a different number and I’ll only answer that number when I practice… means its always an emergency when I get a call from that number
Hey, man! Thanks for sharing!
I’ll give it a shot and see what happens!
I just got done with another workbook
I start my practice by playing every chord I know so far, and once I do that I just keep on practising by playing other songs that I already know
If I have a songbook, I fold the corner so I can remember which song I’m practising
Sometimes a friend will give me chords for a song to practice
My phone will ring when its time to stop practising so I don’t go past the upper limit
My mantra goes like dis
“I don’t miss daily practice”
I think I’ll start practising every after lunch
1 pm or something like that
Already got a calendar at home so I didn’t buy one
I got my guitar on the porch and I can always see it from the dining room
I tried to do it before chores but its hard coz i get interrupted, I wanna get chores out of the way before I practice
I also dont wanna do it at night because I’ll be sleepy.
Just got done reading another workbook.
I’ll probably start my habit at 15 mins a day then work my way up.
I don’t quite get why but i guess I’ll set an upper limit at 30 mins or after i learn one full song or something…
I’ll add a couple of minutes every week to make more progress
If my practice gets more than an hour long Ill take breaks every hour
Half the day.
The pigs need to start cooking by 5 am so they’ll be ready by 6pm
That’s just the pigs though because we start the chickens after that and they cook a lot faster… We also start a separate batch for lunch service but I’m not the one handling those.
My folks run a bbq place so every morning after I get food and brush my teeth and everything I go help prep the coals and wood to get a fire going
From there we’re preparing the pigs that well bbq and we make a big batch so that we can feed a full house all the way thru the night
Its a bit tiring at first but you get used to it soon enough
Nice to know someone here like The Beatles. I’m a big fan too.
